Art School Nº1 presents the exhibition “Mutations” in Santander’s Dr Madrazo Cultural Center. The creation of the pieces that make up this exhibition has its starting point in the concept of change and modification. In the first steps of the activity, images were generated based on mutations of local species of animals and plants. These changes gave rise to imaginary animals (creatures), impossible vegetation and surreal merging between animals and plants from which the students developed their pieces. This exhibition belongs to the project Origins. Cantabria’s materials and iconography, an interdisciplinary project that has been developed by Art School nº1 for many years now.
The showing will start on Friday 2nd February at 6:30 pm and will remain open up to 28th February from 9:00 am to 9 pm from Monday to Friday.
