ILLUSTRACIENCIA 5

From the 9th of April to the 4th of May you can visit  Exposición Illustraciencia 5, an exhibition of the finalist works from the Illustraciencia award, a scientific and naturalístic drawing competition which aims at awarding and spreading the importance of scientific illustration. On this occasion, Escuela de Arte nº1 will take part with a selection of Scientific illustration projects by students of Illustration CGS. Furthermore, we will show a series of jewelry pieces inspired on the illustrations made by students of CGM Procedimientos de Joyería. The exhibition has been organized by Unidad de Cultura Científica de la Universidad de Cantabria together with the Cultural Campus of the UC and Escuela de Arte nº1. In addition, a series of talks on the exhibition about the connection between Art and Science will be given. You can download the program here
